Omega Technology Group is looking for a well rounded Entry Level Technical Support Specialist that involves deploying and troubleshooting all aspects of a computer environment; from personal home systems to business class servers and networks. This position will pose constant challenges and require the ability to learn quickly and find solutions to ever changing problems. Example responsibilities may include, but not limited to: personal computer setup, virus and blended threat removal, server/network administration, network design, remote assistance, on-site troubleshooting for both business and home environments, basic script programming, training on basic computer and/or software skills and client interaction. The ideal candidate will have some experience in technical troubleshooting, have strong communication skills, represent our company favorably while interacting with clients and be a self-starter/self-motivator. While considerable experience and/or training is not required, you will be expected to learn and adapt quickly on your own. This position will require some travel to client locations, usually within Warren County, but may include surrounding counties. This position does require you to have your own reliable transportation for on-site projects.

Status: Full Time, Employee
Hours: 40 Hours/Week, Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM
Additional: After hours and weekends are rare, but sometimes required.
Compensation: Entry level starting at $20,800 year with increases depending upon skill set and motivation.

Entry level position, but some experience and/or training required
Microsoft Operating Systems
Virus removal, IT troubleshooting
Operating system installation, software installation and routine maintenance
Network troubleshooting, Routers, Switches and IP configurations
Basic mechanical skills. Quality hardware and wiring installation with attention to detail
Strong written and verbal communication skills required
Troubleshooting unique problems through to a solution a must
Clear documentation of work performed
Detail oriented - Exceptional work expected
Work with clients and vendors to reach effective solutions
